Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was superior to Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were damaged. Ladd rebounded from the loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She continued her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was her first fight that she had in any major way. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, as well as the Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a match that was a replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
